Liepāja special economic zone enterprise Ekers Stividors LP is one of the largest and multifunctional stevedoring companies in Liepāja - non-frozen port located at east side of Baltic Sea, in Latvia. Our terminal is handling around 2 million tons per annum - more than 30% of total cargo amount handled at port.
We have well-developed infrastructure and all necessary kind of technical equipment which allows us to transship different kind of cargoes, from general and palletized to bulk.
Diversified port and transport services allows us to provide Customers with most beneficial terms and solutions for inland cargo transportation, as well as for transit all directions via transit corridor of Latvia. For to ensure the most efficient quality of services and cargo safety, the company provides a full package of services as from/to border to/from ship, including cargo storage, railway freight forwarding, Customs brokers, as well as Ship’s agency.
According to Customer’s request, we cooperate with all companies of Independent Surveyors.
We have considerable experience in handling of different types of cargo, where the main part relates to bulk products – from different agrogoods, including wood pellets, to coal and ore.
One of our main local partners in handling of agrogoods is a bulk cargo terminal Danstore Ltd., with annual cargo turnover more than a half of million tons.
Another our strategic partner is Schwenk Group - the main producer of cement in Baltic States. Together we found plenty of cooperation solutions for to handle all different cargoes related to cement production demands. For Messrs. Schwenk we are handling packed compressed alternative fuel (RDF), anhydride, slag and cement clinker, about a million tons per annum in total.
